After completing her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 2006, Karen graduated from Liberty University in 2010 with her M.A. in Professional Counseling. She is registered in the State of Florida as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. Before moving to Gainesville, Florida in the summer of 2015, Karen was a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern seeing clients in a private practice setting in Dallas, Texas.

In 2014 Karen received the endorsement of the American Association of Christian Counselors as a Board Certified Christian Counselor (BCCC).

Karen’s counseling specializations include depression, ADHD, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage and family, and adolescents.

Karen has been married to her college sweetheart for nearly a decade and together they have 3 preschool aged sons.
