Karen graduated from Liberty University with her M.A. in Professional Counseling in 2010. She is registered in the State of Florida as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. Before moving to Gainesville, Florida in the summer of 2015, Karen was a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern seeing clients in a private practice setting in Dallas, Texas. Since then, she worked in a private school setting as a certified k-12 school counselor.
In 2014 Karen received the endorsement of the American Association of Christian Counselors as a Board Certified Christian Counselor (BCCC). She currently maintains certification as a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS).
Karen's counseling specializations include Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, chronic health issues, parenting, marriage and family, and children and adolescents.
Karen has been married to her college sweetheart for nearly two decade and together they have 3 teenage sons.
